I love this place. Good music. The drinks are good. Good beer list. The food is always consistent. The fries are hand cut. Burgers are Angus. Veggie Burger made in house. Word of advice…if an establishment can’t make home cut fries… then leave🤣 The staff are friendly and helpful!!

Stopped by Marlay on a beautiful Tuesday evening. The outdoor seating was very popular and accompanied by a group of musicians. There was plenty of indoor seating available as well. Indoor pub decor was cozy. We were excited to see that there was a Tuesday menu special for small / shareable plates and drinks. Altogether, we ordered the fish and chips, pretzel, smoked chicken tacos, and deviled eggs. All were fantastic. Vinegar was on the table to sprinkle on the fish and chips. It was good with just the vinegar, but the tartar sauce was a nice touch as well (almost like a tartar-slaw?). The shredded smoked chicken tacos really surprised us and were so tasty. 10/10 would get again. Overall, great place with plenty of options on the menu. We pass by this place almost everday and it looks lively. We really enjoyed going on a "slower" day.

We have been customers for 13 years and absolutely love The Marlay House ☺️ Everyone’s so kind, warm and inviting. Also, the food is fantastic! I love that the owner Colin is involved in running the restaurant, chatting with customers and making sure everyone feels welcomed-10/10! 🌸 🐾 Lastly, the garden area is so beautiful and our dogs love dining with us on the patio!

10/10 recommend! We had our wedding welcome lunch at Marlay House and it was one of the best decisions we made. We worked with the general manager, Michelle, from March to plan for our lunch in August. From the beginning she was so helpful and accommodating to our needs. Their food options fit all of our guests dietary restrictions which was big for us. The day of our lunch the staff was incredible! Everyone was so friendly and kind to us. We felt very taken care of. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was. The pub was a great location especially for our out of town guests staying in Decatur Square. The pub has plenty of parking. Michelle and the team made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying their time. If anyone is looking for a place to host their next event and want amazing food, friendly staff, great location, and good prices - look no further! Photo credits: @frykmanphotography

Great place with a nice Irish feel. Staff and service are excellent. British Isle food was very good with nice selection of their signature drinks. Much better parking situation than the restaurants around the Decatur town square. We had a egg breakfast, fish and chips, smoky chicken sandwich and their signature Irish Roast dinner and desert available on Sundays only. This Irish roast dinner was more blackened than an English roast beef dinner with a lot of smoky flavors. Included dessert was out of this world.

My mom & I really enjoy visiting this pub, we visit at least 1-2x per week! We really enjoy the vibe, the service, and food. Lucy, Michelle, Hannah, Bo, Cassidy, Brantley, Coop, Sean, TJ, and the entire staff are so nice & attentive!! This was our 1st year celebrating Christmas & New Year's w/them and we had a blast. The Santa was fun & the face painting elf was a hoot!. It is always a welcoming environment. We're so glad we discovered this pub, it is the epitome of a friendly neighborhood tavern! We both ordered the Greek Chicken Wrap w/Chips (aka fries). It was a nice combination of flavors. We also ordered the pretzel but beware, the mustard is strong enough to blow your hair back & make your nose run, but it is oh so good! The Veggie Wrap, D-14 Burger, Blackened Chicken Alfredo & Chicken Tenders are some of our other favorites! ❤️ Mom had a Manhattan w/Maker's Mark & Sweet Vermouth, no bitters. I had my classic IPA brewski: 3 Taverns Night on Ponce (one of my absolute fav local brews). Thursdays is Trivia Night so the place was packed, we hope to visit again soon.

Came her for a drink with my fiancé. Classic neighborhood pub. Our bartender Cooper was great. Had opinions on all the drinks, would offer a small tasting when necessary, and most importantly made us feel welcome. This time we did not get to try the food, but the drinks were great. The Marlay is what a neighborhood pub should be, and bartenders like Cooper are why it's that way. Strongly recommend coming here. Even put their bars crest on the Guinness. See attached picture.

Was looking for a decent pub on the area, and this one was great. Short walk from the MARTA station, great beer selection, and a food menu that has me wanting to go back to try a few other things. I started with the Shepard's Pie, and it was prefect. Lovely cook, and the food tasted like a warm hug from a loved one. I look forward to getting back and giving the lamb curry a go.

Marlay's was a destination stop for my dad and I on our Atlanta day-trip. Place was authentic and friendly - clearly popular as it had regulars around the bar. Our server Dan was so kind and gave great recs (thanks Dan!). Just a short walk from the MARTA station too. We had the Red Pepper Hummus, Pan Seared Flounder (pictured), and Fish & Chips. Great meal all around with pints of Smithwick's. I wish we had a Marlay's in my city! Will be back.
